Handbuilt and wood fired stoneware sculpture that is about capturing moments of intensity through action and gesture. These works are made from thin clay slabs that are thrown and manipulated, then combined into standing forms. They are fired in a wood kiln continuously for seven days. A similar surface treatment has been applied to each, but their placement in the kiln has determined the final outcome.
